‘Tis the season for Christmas carols. To celebrate, two of Jenni’s carols – Christmas Bells (a setting of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s text), and one finished recently – The Bells (a setting of a text by Edgar Allan Poe) are now available as digital PDFs via Payhip.
Christmas Bells has previously been recorded by Kantos Chamber Choir. The Bells, in contrast, is a new setting in 7/8, with a modal melody giving a wintery feel to the secular text. The video below has audio rendered in Dorico 3.
