As you know, I’m a huge fan of quirky time signatures. When playing around with carols this setting of The Holly and the Ivy in 5 popped into my head, and I couldn’t resist making it into a full piece!
Holly in V is an arrangement of The Holly and the Ivy with 5 quavers to a bar. The joyful, dance like melody this change creates can be heard singing through this quick, quirky solo piano setting.
