Stars (from Snapshots)

Stars was inspired by the first stanza of the text by A E Housman of the same name:

Stars, I have seen them fall,
But when they drop and die
No star is lost at all
From all the star-sown sky.

The original poem is heard at the beginning of the song, before venturing into an exploration of the starry sky. This excerpt is performed fabulously by Donna Lennard and Reuben Browne and comes from the end of the song.

Snapshots is a collection of stand alone musical theatre pieces, all remotely recorded by the performers involved and stitched together to create the final piece.
