Very excited to share that Helen Arney and I’s new piece Put Out The Fire will be performed by Molly O’Gorman and the Firebrands at Festival of The Spoken Nerd’s An Evening of Unnecessary Detail at the Cambridge Theatre, London on Monday 20th November!
Put Out The Fire is all about scientist Hertha Ayrton. During her time at Girton College, Cambridge in the 1870s she led the choral society and set up the first all ladies fire brigade, while working tirelessly to give women equal opportunities in all areas of life. What better way to tell her story than through a quintet of singing firefighters!
