Jenni and Graham Palmer‘s piece The Blessing of the Road-born child will feature in Songs and Sounds‘ online concert today (Friday 31st July, 7pm), created and presented by Donna Lennard and Gavin Roberts. Called A Mother’s Voice: Part 1, the concert will explore motherhood through music, including music from composers Ben Graves and Emily Hall as well as poetry by Kathryn Simmonds.
The Blessing of the Road-born Child is part of the Cracked Voices song cycle. It is available for soprano and clarinet, or for unaccompanied SATB choir.
