On Wednesday 14th November Jenni will be one of the speakers at the Salon Without Boundaries’ inaugural live Salon – MAPPING THE BOUNDARIES: Women, Creativity and the Natural World at the 1901 Arts Club, Waterloo, London.

The event will be led by Salonières Dr Briony Cox-Williams (piano) and Pierrette Thomet (mezzo), and will include music by Fanny Hensel and Pauline v. Decker, poetry by Elizabeth Lewis Williams and a talk about 17th Century artist, entoomlogist and intrepid explorer Maria Merian by Kate Heard, Senior Curator of Prints and Drawings at the Royal Collection Trust.

The event as a whole will be looking at the ways women have and are responding to the natural world. As part of it, Jenni will talk about the challenges of setting Elizabeth Lewis William’s poetry about Antarctica, and presenting a couple of fragments of concept pieces.

Tickets are available through the 1901 Arts Club’s website.
