A couple of months ago I shared a couple of seasonal pieces. Since then, Descends the Snow has been rearranged into an SATB format, and was shortlisted for the Sir David Willcocks Carol Composer Competition. It’s a gentle, secular Christmas anthem featuring singable, idiomatic choral lines accompanied by flurries of snow in the piano accompaniment.
