Description
The Bells is a short, fast paced setting of the first stanza of the poem of the same name by Edgar Allan Poe. The modal melody makes the piece feel distinctly wintery, while the unusual time signature keeps the momentum of the piece going. The changing key signatures help the sledge speed to its destination.
