About Carol of the Kings
While on a search for something different to perform during the festive season, Jenni stumbled across the fact that We Three Kings and Carol of the Bells worked almost perfectly together. While she could find arrangements that switched between the two carols (mostly for instrumental groups), she decided to create one where both were being sung at the same time. This arrangement was created specifically for a leisure time choir as an opportunity to perform something new and exciting while also performing a couple of Christmas favourites.
Carol of the Kings was premiered by Sing Papworth (a leisure time choir in Cambridgeshire, UK) in December 2023. Below is an excerpt from a sing through at a carol service.
