For the past year, Jenni has been working in collaboration with writer Graham Palmer on the new song cycle Cracked Voices. Based on original research, Cracked Voices explores forgotten characters and folklore from South Cambridgeshire and North Hertfordshire.

The premiere of the hour long is being held on Saturday 10th March at the Music Recital Hall, Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. Tickets can be bought via the Cracked Voices website. Performing will be soprano Donna Lennard, baritone Miles Horner, pianist Ralph Woodward and clarinettist Sue Pettitt.

In the past couple of weeks Graham and Jenni have been on HCR104’s Spotlight show, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire’s Lunchtime Live and will be on Cambridge105’s Sunday Breakfast tomorrow talking about the project.

A second performance will be happening on Saturday 28th April at Royston Methodist Church, Royston, Herts. This will feature the premiere of Meridian School’s Cracked Objects – the educational project that’s run alongside Cracked Voices. More about that soon!
